Product Description:


The Tonyin Microfiber Cutting Pad is a high-performance buffing pad designed for heavy correction work on automotive paint. This 5-inch pad features a specialized microfiber surface bonded to a dense foam interface, allowing it to remove deep scratches, heavy swirl marks, and severe oxidation far more quickly than traditional foam pads. It is engineered specifically for use with Dual Action (DA) and Random Orbital (RO) polishers to provide maximum cutting power while maintaining a cool surface temperature.

Application:


  1. Attach the pad securely to the center of a 5-inch backing plate on your RO or DA polisher.
  2. Prime the pad by applying a small amount of cutting compound and working it into the microfiber fibers with your fingers.
  3. Apply 34 pea-sized drops of fresh compound onto the pad.
  4. Set your polisher to a low speed and spread the compound over a 2x2 foot section of the paint.
  5. Increase the polisher speed and move the pad in slow, overlapping passes using moderate pressure.
  6. Periodically clean the pad with a pad brush or compressed air to remove spent polish and paint residue.
  7. Wipe the area with a clean microfiber towel to inspect the results before moving to the next section.
