Examples of conditions in which home-based care has been used, including dengue fever, pneumonia, fractures, renal failure and brain abscess. The type and extent of home treatment always depend on the individual patients clinical condition.

What is included in this advertised Doctor Home Visit package?

The price shown for this product is for the basic Doctor Home Visit only. It includes:

Doctors consultation and clinical examination at home
Assessment of the patients current condition
Review of relevant available medical information
Medical advice
A prescription where appropriate
Advice on an initial management plan and the next steps

The advertised package price does NOT include medicines, injections, IV therapy, dressings, procedures, laboratory investigations, prolonged monitoring, waiting time, nursing services, medical equipment, consumables or other additional treatment services.

Important safety information

A home visit does not guarantee that the patient can be treated at home. After assessmentor at any stage during home-based management the doctor may recommend hospital admission, emergency assessment, specialist care or another healthcare facility if this is considered safer or medically necessary.

This service is not an emergency or ambulance service, and patient transportation is not included.
