The educational toys as School Play Kits are designed for the children to learn counting skills manipulate match develop balance imaginative play handeye coordination spelling measuring skills etc. The Sarvodaya Woodwork Unit consists of three main sections namely the Rathmalgoda Wood Treatment Section the Furniture Production Section and the Moratuwa Meth Medura PreSchool Equipment and Playmaterials Production Unit and Sales Room.The timber produced at the saw mill and treatment plant at Rathmalgoda is used for making furniture with the excess being sold externally.The Preschool equipment and play materials produced at the Meth Medura production section have acquired a reputation in the country for their high quality and use of leadfree paint. There is an increasing demand for these from both local and foreign buyers.
