Sameege Kathawa By Sisil Rudregu

The narrative is presented in the first person by Sam, an illiterate, simple-minded village boy. He moves to an urban town to work as a domestic houseboy for a wealthy, kind couple at a property called `River House`. The story juxtaposes his peaceful, structured daily chores at River House against the chaotic background of the escalating Sri Lankan Civil War.
