To prevent breakage, the lead is securely bonded. Color hues are labeled on pencils to make identification easier. In packs of 9, 12, and 24 hues, a special Gold and Silver bi-color pencil is included. Pencils constructed from reclaimed wood are devoid of harmful Phthalates, as is the paint used on the pencil body. Age-8+
