5 Inch Palmyra Hot Pot Stand 5 Pcs Set Handmade Natural Palmyra Leaf Daranu Trivet

This Palmyra Hot Pot Stand set, known as daranu in Sinhala, keeps pots steady on the table while protecting it from heat. Each round stand is handmade from natural palmyra leaf, the material known elsewhere as a trivet. The set of 5 gives you one stand for every pot, bowl or pan on a busy dining table.

• Set of 5 round hot pot stands, approx. 5 inches diameter each
• Handmade from natural palmyra leaf, strips wrapped tightly around a firm ring
• Warm natural shades of cream, tan and soft yellow, no two stands exactly alike
• Light yet sturdy, holds its round shape well
• Ideal for round bottom pots like clay pots (maluwa), curry pots and kettles
• Eco friendly, non-toxic, plastic-free alternative to metal or plastic trivets
• Suits traditional Sri Lankan tables and modern rustic kitchens alike

Handy for everyday meals, large family dinners or a festive buffet, this daranu set from Sri Lanka is ready to order on Kapruka, with minor natural variation in colour and shape expected since each piece is handmade and the pot shown is not included.
