Sineth Hospitals provides a Nurse Home Visit for IV Normal Saline Administration, supported by an over-the-phone medical consultation and supervision by Dr. Seneth Gajasinghe.

A nurse visits the patient at home, performs the required basic assessment and administers the prescribed normal saline with indicated Vitamin B-complex supplementation, while medical guidance is provided remotely by the doctor.

The advertised package includes:

Basic nursing assessment before treatment
Over-the-phone consultation with Dr. Seneth Gajasinghe
Administration of the included IV normal saline
Required Vitamin B-complex supplementation when medically appropriate
Nurse attendance during administration of the IV fluid

A prescription may be provided when clinically appropriate
Important Safety Information

IV saline is a medical treatment and is not appropriate for every patient. The amount and rate of IV fluid and whether Vitamin B-complex is appropriate will depend on the patients clinical circumstances.

The service may be declined or stopped if home administration is considered inappropriate or unsafe. Following assessment, the patient may be advised to attend a hospital or another healthcare facility if in-person medical examination, investigations, emergency treatment or hospital-level monitoring is required.

This service is not an emergency or ambulance service, and patient transportation is not included.

The advertised package covers only the services specifically described above. Other medicines, additional IV fluids, laboratory investigations, additional procedures, prolonged monitoring, extended waitingattendance or other healthcare services are not included unless specifically stated and arranged separately.
