Application:

  4. Start the polisher on a low speed to spread the compound, then increase to a medium-high speed (45 on most DA machines).
  5. Move the polisher in slow, overlapping passes using moderate downward pressure.
  6. Clean the pad face frequently with a brush or compressed air to remove spent compound and paint residue from the dimples.
  7. Wipe the area with a clean microfiber towel to verify defect removal before proceeding to a medium or fine polishing stage.
