The Mango Tree was awarded the best restaurant award by then Public Health Department at a ceremony held at Colombo Hilton on the 21st of July 2012.

Mango tree is a busy little restaurant in the heart of Colombo,it;s hard to get a reservation but it"s well worth trying to have a meal here. Food is authentic Indian and very very flavouful and tastes very close to indian food made in India.The Mango Tree promises to serve genuine North Indian cuisine using only authentic North Indian ingredients.

Given the distinctive cultural histories of the various regions in North India, it’s only natural that there are also differences in cuisine. The menu, as extensive as it already is, can’t possibly represent all of North India. To that end, the Mango Tree also offers special items not on the menu so its patrons can sample an even wider variety of North Indian foods.
