Traditional Devil Mask Burn Art

Pyrography or pyrogravure is the art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated object such as a poker. It is also known as pokerwork or wood burning.
Giniraksha Devil Mask is one of the six traditional devil masks in Sri Lanka. Giniraksha mask is used by Sri Lankan people to ward off evil from their homes. People believe that keeping these masks bring good luck and fortune as well as power.
