Brusa Lambrusco Dolce Sparkling 750ml ABV 7.5 Italy

This Lambrusco Rosso Dolce is made from red Lambrusco grapes from the Emilia IGT district. After a classic fermentation and a maturation for 3 months in steel tanks, dextrose and yeast are added to the wine for a second fermentation in temperature-regulated (12°C.) pressure tanks (Charmat method), whereby it becomes sparkling (Frizzante). The wine is bottled after fermentation, which is classic for a Lambrusco. Lambrusco Dolce is semi-sweet (50 g./l. residual sugar) with a good portion of fruit character, crispness and nerve, which provides a good counterpoint to the sweetness. The wine is suitable as an aperitif, for desserts with nuts, chocolate or pickled fruit. Try it also with exotic, Asian dishes with pork or poultry.
